John J. Schwarz, II
John was raised on a family farm near Stroh, Indiana where he was instilled with family values and a strong work ethic. He graduated from Prairie Heights High School and later obtained an engineering degree from Tri-State University. After working in the automotive industry for a few years, he obtained his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law, graduating in the top 30% of his class. During law school, John interned at the Indiana Farm Bureau headquarters in Indianapolis, where he assisted with developing favorable policies and laws for Indiana farmers.
Upon completion of his legal studies, John returned to his home community to practice law. John primarily practices in the area of agricultural law and issues important to farming communities. In addition to being a practicing attorney, John is also actively involved in his family’s 4,000-acre grain farming operation.
John has contributed articles to Farm World Magazine, Indiana Prairie Farmer Magazine, the Indianapolis Star, and various local newspapers. In addition, he has provided seminars at national farm shows, soil and water events, as well as other events.
John practices in the areas of Agricultural Law, Family Law, Real Estate Law, Municipal Law, Estate Planning, Probate, Civil Litigation, Employment Law, Personal Injury, Animal Law, and other areas. As a fellow farmer, John can effectively assist you and your farm.
